From the family of Diana Rojo;
On December 26th, 2012 our mom, Diana Rojo was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and courageously battled it for four years until December 24, 2016. She is survived by our dad Ruben, her four children, and three grandchildren. She went to great lengths to provide her kids with a higher education and believed each and every person deserves the opportunity to do the same. Diana resided in Fillmore for 24 years and all four of her children graduated from Fillmore High School. She served on the Fillmore Women's Service Club for over 10 years and held their mission near and dear to her heart. With this scholarship we hope to continue her legacy through providing this scholarship to a graduating senior of Fillmore High School who has the aspirations to make a difference in the world.
